WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?





Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment/intervention,and rehabilitation.

PHYSIO means "Physical" and THERAPY means "Treatment". The use of physical methods to assist recovery of damaged tissue, especially in muscles and joints.
Physiotherapy is dedicated to the restoration of the human function which has been impaired due to disease, trauma or injury.  It plays a big role in preventive aspects and pain management.


Physiotherapy today is an independent health care profession for all the age groups from neonatal to geriatrics. (from birth to old age.)
